Pets need sun protection, too. Customers tell me that they have been using their umbrellas to protect their pets. And friends have been buying my umbrellas with the sole intention of protecting their pets.
My friend, Linda Seger, just wrote a testimonial letter of her story and it reads as follows:
“My husband, Peter and I, had a piebald domestic tabby cat named Sally who was mainly white, with some gray and black. A few years after we got her, we heard that cats, particularly light-haired cats, can be especially susceptible to skin cancer. But Sally loved to sit in the sun and particularly in our laundry room which had a skylight.
Finally, we decided to buy Lynn’s umbrella to protect her. We set it up in the laundry room in a place where she’d be protected from the sun through the skylight. My husband propped it up in between the dryer and ironing board to make sure it was sturdy. We wondered if she would sit under the umbrella but we soon noticed that she would curl up under the umbrella. It became one of her favorite spots to nap, and we were happy that she was protected and warm.
We are so grateful to Lynn for having created something that would protect our beloved cat.”
So now I am going to introduce my umbrellas to pet stores so that people and their pets can get great sun protection!
